Marsh & McLennan I am moving 2 hours from my office. My manager says i have to come 2 days to office. When i come to the office its only me and couple of other people. No one seems to care about coming to office. When i asked manager if i can work remote i was told that its for my career development. Can you guys tell in Canada which companies are offering remote opportunities?

Thank you for your thoughts! I know for me, the commute one way was 90 minutes and my quality of life has sky rocketed. Not to mention I feel more productive with silence at home

There’s no reason to ever go back into the office. If some people want to, great. But if others want to WFH full time then they should have that option. I care a lot more about avoiding a commute, saving money on food, and spending time with my family than I do about culture.
Also participated in focus group and most were in favor of hybrid approach. Seemed like everyone preferred the flexibility that WFH offers.
I participated in a focus group to discuss on the USDC work plan post vaccination and most of the people in our group sounded in favor of extended WFH. I don’t think the office is going to look full post COVID as it used to be.
Is that a bad thing? I hate open seating
Fully remote. Work from any state.
Doesn’t work like that. Travel is funded but the clients. Cores comp has nothing to do with travel.
My mommy said WFH is the only we they do their work. I believe her. How else would anyone ever work. What are you all talking about? Anyway, let me get back to work.
No. No horsies.
