Stay whatever period you need after so you don’t have to pay back leave. Otherwise, I don’t see a problem with it. Many people leave for a few years to raise kids then come back.

I worked tor a company where you had to stay for 6 months after leave or else pay back the top-up. Definitely check the policy!
Totally normal, I known quite a few people who leave after maternity leaves to focus on family and everyone understands.
Do check your company policy though, I know Deloitte can clawback the pay if you leave within a month of returning (taking back the money they paid you while you were in leave).
Just consider that it may permanently set you back in your career. Is there potentially the option to continue a part time schedule? I know KPMG offers a part time schedule which is supposed to be 20 hours a week.
Keywords "supposed to be" I knew a few people when I was in consulting that basically had full time except were able to say no to proposals because they were part time. And the part time benefits don't change if you work more than the 20 hours. I would say better boundaries and expectation setting with teams may be better than going part time.
