Not a bad move. Cap1 is a legit fintech
D1, true they are a bank, but they see themselves and operate as a tech company. They are light years ahead of their peers
What level would you come in as? Pay is pretty competitive from what I’ve seen. Progression is also solid and they also really promote internal mobility. You’ll see a lot of people move around groups as they also move up.
Good company to have on your resume as well. Will open the door to fairly lucrative banking exits.
Find a team that’s pretty established, people who know each other and have worked consistently on that team. I noticed a lot of re-orgs while I was there. You can get lost if you’re on a smaller team or one with more turnover.
Full of re-orgs, bureaucracy, office politics and turnover
That is why I quit lol
I was there for 3 years, it was okay. They suffer from the same bs any large corporation does (being treated like a resource, heavy politics, 2% annual raises, will squash any creativity or drive you have). They pay well enough to get comfortable and settle in for a while if you’re the kind of person who’s okay with that.
