Hi everyone. I am new to FIRE and I am not sure where to begin. I am 24 and currently make 60k. I am contributing 9% of my pay to my firms 401(k). I have 9,500 left on my car loan and 26k in federal student loans. Should I make my main focus paying off debt this year? I am lucky to be living rent free with my parents so I have no other expenses. I would like to buy a house by December 2022/early 2023. My parents are not good when it come to money/retirement so I have no one to turn to for advice

The best decision I made towards my FIRE goal was to move from Europe to the US. I did so at 31 with a NW of $300k. Four years later, my NW is $1.2M as I kept costs low while earning significantly more. My concern now is how to keep a good balance as I know that costs will greatly increase (house, kids..) in the next few years. Has any of you considered moving to Europe to benefit from a cheaper lifestyle once you’ve grown your nest egg?

How much house do ya’ll think is reasonable on ~$215k TC? HCOL area

Hi, I currently own a house in The Netherlands. I was told by a seller agent that I can get €400k if I sell the house, my current mortgage is around €210k @ 1.65% year with payment of around € 1050.

I am planning to move to another country this year and I could rent the house for €1550.

Would it be wiser to sell it an invest the money and not worry about renting?
I currently have around 90k of investments and I am 32 years old.

Hey everyone - love this bowl and looking for some feedback. I am 31 and wondering if I should make any adjustments to my Roth 401k. Current allocation:
15% - FBGKX (blue chip large cap growth)
15% - growth company pool class 2 (large cap growth)
25% - S&P 500 index
10% - RNPGX (world large stock growth)
10% - RERGX (Europac growth fund)
10% - FSRNX (real estate index fund)
15% - total international stock market index

I still have a bunch in the 2055 fund, but this is going forward. Thoughts?
