Thoughts on moving from a Big 4 to a startup? At Manager and above level.

I am an IT Professional with 15 + years of experience of which 12 years in mainframe programming across various domains insurance, banking, telecom etc currently working as a senior Technichal Business Analyst for Lending completed the Pspo1 certificate recently. Experienced with both Agile and water fall model well versed in scrum master and PO roles Would it be a nice idea to switch as a product owner .

I know most of the questions here will be on sexism or inclusion of POC but can we talk about ageism? Once we reach a certain age should we just leave the agency business? Is that fair?

I just want to check if can we ask for Associate projects for 27 months experience ? Or in how many months a normal programmer analyst changes to associate ?

I have been thinking a lot about this lately but I have been wanting to pívot to a different industry. I have been in the finance industry for the past 7 years and have enjoyed my time there. I want to better provide for my family and I have looked at Apple/Google for positions since they’re more lucrative (depending on the positions) to achieve that. My main question is that how can I pivot my current skill set into a different industry?

Two recruiters have told me that specific major national firms refuse to interview any current or former employees of the firm I work for. is this a big problem or something usual for firms? I have job offer from two of the big4s. One is PWC SDC Kolkata and another is KPMG Global.

KPMG is offering 1.5 lakhs extra in fixed pay and 1.5 lakhs as joining bonus.

However in PWC SDC they have shift allowance of 700/day(not mentioned in offer letter).

I am bit confused amongst two. Please share your thoughts and guide me to choose the right one considering Work life Balance, Career growth, Exposure etc.
