Left consulting for a great opp recently and I still have anxiety from my prior experience. I had hoped that it would go away. I still have that Sunday evening depression that was stimulated by my last job. How soon does this usually last after exiting a toxic Big 4 employer? Has anybody else experienced this? Call me crazy, but after 4 years in industry , 4 years in public (exited as senior) , is it crazy that I want to go back to big 4? I know most of my colleagues are already exited, but I miss the comradadre, flexibility during summers, ability to mentor / participate in random initiatives and holiday time. At what point in life/your career does it stop mattering where you went to college? I went to a no name undergrad, thought that the ‘prestige’ of working in consulting would fix that but it still seems to matter a lot to people and actively impact perceptions/dating opportunities, etc

I know this is an incredibly privileged question to ask so spare me the criticism. But I am graduating with no student loans and starting a job in Philly making 95k. I want to lease an Audi A4 (~350/Mo) but my parents keep trying to talk me out of it saying it’s a terrible investment and that I don’t even need a car. I already plan on maxing out 401k/IRA and have an apartment for 1k/Mo. What do you guys think?
