Make $120k Accenture now doing tech implementations, just got offer 200k TC EY business consulting. I love my job, have a great WLB (working 20 hours per week, no travel, clear path to M in about 1.5 years) - am I an idiot for even contemplating staying? What I would be doing is more PPT/functional vs Onestream/technical which I do now.

I cannot stress this enough.
Is this a serious question? What would be stopping you?

Thanks all, general consensus seems to be that I'd be an idiot not to take it. Won't answer any potentially identifying questions at the moment, but promise to do so once everything settles.
Good luck!!🍀

Jump on that
We’re all singing Van Halen for you to jump
Sorry but EY manager title doesn’t mean anything. I’d jump ASAP if I were you.
I left as a first year manager from monitor Deloitte. Got 4-5 offers but total Comp was always $200-230k range...you’re already at $230k+ all in. Would be silly to not take.

What’s your skill set ? That is a pretty damn good base for 6 YOE

Time to jump. Got something similar and never looked back
You have an offer that people at the manager level would jump for lol

I’m a recently promoted manager at 150+ base and I’d happily have taken such an offer before and after promotion.

Can u delay. Get the title then jump?
You should take it. Even with a generous 20% bump in current comp you’d still be making less than the offer’s base. Plus, there must have been a reason you applied to that role eh?
What firm??????
