Hello, my question is to people working in Wipro. I have got an offer for C1 band. I want to know some detail on Wipro Benefits Plan for C1 level. I have heard that there is a component for furniture and appliance reimbursement. Is that part of the CTC? So if I do not buy any furniture, will I get my full salary?
TCS offered me 9.6 LPA, But current I'm having offer for 14.5 if i ask them to renegotiate will they able to do it.
Some people are telling stories they may revoke the offer and they never hire you is that true I'm totally scared 😨
Seniors please help me here.

About to ask for a raise on Friday for the first time in my life! 28 yrs old and worked in the industry for 4 yrs before joining advisory in Jan. Also have an MBA. I'm in the field of operation/supply chain. Already did my research and have a number in mind. Interested in getting your thoughts on this. What do you think it's a reasonable number to pay someone with my background?
OW's response during the pandemic was the opposite of what P1 described above. Leadership committed to protecting jobs and no downsizing within the consulting staff took place in Canada. The firm was extremely supportive and flexible during the early and confusing periods of COVID.
OW Toronto and Montreal are both filled with fantastic people and have a great collegial atmosphere. WLB is entirely project dependent, and not a function of being in Canada. We work in integrated teams with our US colleagues, so industry/project focus is quite varied. If you're interested in staying in Toronto, financial services work dominates. In Montreal, aviation/transportation dominates. In ~3.5 years at the firm, I'd say about 40% of my projects were based in Canada.

How about experienced hires with no consulting background? (PhD and industry experience)
I love OW and the people I work with. Awesome salary / benefits for Canada too. WLB can be a concern, but that’s a challenge across all consulting firms. You have to like travel though (pre-covid at least). Also, many of our projects tend to be more quantitative in nature.
Pretty similar to MBB. Over 100k total comp in your first year. Maybe twice that amount after 3 years for an average performer.
Don't know the answer to your question but I know OW hired and fired new Associates pretty fast when the going got a bit tough in 2008. Some were let go within the first 3 months of joining so I made a mental note to stay away from this firm.
We have 10+ partners in the Deloitte bowl. One of the senior partners there is amazing! (Nicknamed “Partner 1/P1”). He offers great advice and makes time to help everyone.

Based on the people who got recruited right before or during the 2008 crisis, I heard something different from Partner 1. People might be on the bench more (not like close to 100% utilization now), but they were not let go.
My source is a couple of buddies from bschool who were affected then. Were they an isolated case? Maybe.
