We have been looking to buy a slightly bigger house in a good school district. Our current home is in a not so great school district but our kids don’t start kinder until next year. Current home are pretty overpriced but we wonder if prices would ever come down. With interest rates still comparatively lower would you buy now or would you wait for a few years until the market settles down? We don’t plan to go above what we can afford but wondering if the same $$ would get us a better house later

Hi! I just wanted to introduce myself. I’m new to this bowl and overweight. I’ve been focused on living a healthier lifestyle for the past several months. I’m down 20+ lbs and ran a mile for the first time in more than 10 years this past Saturday. I used to be focused on health and fitness many years ago but allowed work, school, etc. to shift my focus. Well, needless to say I’m back and working hard at it again! Also, I’m a male living in Chicago. Has anyone used a fitness app? Recommendations?

Whenever I run a half marathon or 10K or 5K, I always have nausea or diarrhea before the race. I never while I do my “normal” runs. Thinking it’s nerves and excitement/anxiety, but wondering if anyone else exp. this?

Anyone have perspective on taking creatine and partying on the weekends? I don’t drink during the week but I know alcohol and creatine both go pretty hard in terms of dehydrating your body. Recently passed the 3 week mark of taking creatine (5 days a week), and again, only exclusively drink on the weekends. Bad mix? Good in moderation? And btw I regularly hit a gallon a day of water intake.

Depression is incapacitating and hinders my career growth.. trying my best at managing it, but that just makes people mistake me being rude, angry or easy to get along. Need help on where to get started to safely lose about 20 lbs gained from Covid/ pregnancy (8 months post partum). I do at 25 minutes of exercise 4 days a week and a 45 min class on weekend. I am at my desk all day and don’t move enough. I am bad at drinking water and drink la croix or Gatorade zero. Eat too many snacks and carbs but eat somewhat healthy during week. Need to cut back alcohol on weekends I live where it’s freezing so don’t walk much in winter. Need small steps to get started
