Nissans CVT’s have had nothing but issues
Stick with Honda or Toyota as BAH1 mentioned, but this depends on budget and the goal of the car
I’d stay away from it. I had two of them as rental cars. The first one was a 2018 with 30k miles and it felt like the cvt transmission was going to fall apart. I returned it and they gave me a 2019 with 1000 miles and it wasn’t too much better. It did manage 42mpg on the highway though. A Honda CRV or Toyota RAV4 would be better choices imo.
thanks all! any opinions on the Hyundai Kona? taking a look at the Toyota chr now! looking to hopefully research some used ones and buy next week!
Agreed with SC1... If you're going to spend so much on something so small like a CH-R or Kona, save your money and look at the Corolla, Civic, Mazda3, or Elantra GT hatches. In some cases, they can carry more than their sub-compact crossover counterparts. Also the Rouge in those years will be as reliable as the CR-V or Rav4, Nissan's worked out most of the issues they had on earlier CVTs.
