Hey! PwC Deloitte Accenture EY KPMG MBA degree (if it really matters) 3 years in a smaller consulting company, 2 years leading Global and National expansion for two companies. 5 years working in banking and wealth management. Currently a Manager leading the wealth management strategy.
Currently in Georgia, open to relocation to Texas or New York if needed but would really appreciate guidance as well as a referral. Looking to make a pivot back into the industry I have a passion for.

Depends on the MBA program and what you do with it. There’s no general objective answer here.
Also trying to figure out if it’s worth it. What I have heard is that an MBA may mean something in more senior roles when trying to get a ‘seat at the table’ (i.e., gives you more credibility). That would also suggest it matters in more senior roles in management consulting, given that your goal as a partner is ultimately to gain access to the C-level ‘agenda’. That said, I think an MBA may be worthwhile to consider if you assume that (1) the orthodoxy described above is not overhauled by generational shifts for at least the next 5-10 years, and (2) that you see yourself aspiring to climb up the corporate ladder. These two conditions might be worth testing before making a decision.
MBA ain’t about the class. It’s all for the network
def. tech is the way.
Depends on your short & long term career goals and the school you attend.
So simple answer; if want to make a career pivot taking two years off and getting a top tier mba will open the doors you need to completely change your current career.
Though you need to go to a top 20ish school that recruiters actively target.
If you really like ACN and want to shoot for MD I don’t know if it’d be worth it. Though it’d be a great discussion point if your close with any of them.

Tech people take orders from MBAs...
Tech people take orders! You would be a great leader SA1!
To each their own. I understand the value of life long education however is an MBA objectively worth it? - Cost, time to complete/ time off work vs post MBA salary?
I would think work experience would trump that.
