McKinsey & Company Has Mckinsey met BA headcount quota for the year/did they freeze hiring? I interviewed and got to last round last year, and applied again with a referral two months ago but haven’t heard anything from recruiting. Last year I heard back within 1 month of referral drop. I would’ve thought with my 1 more year of experience I should be able to get an interview easily.🥲 McKinsey & Company

Consider location too. A role they contacted me about was in Provo, Utah.
Used to work there in 2014 - was a great experience. I still keep in touch, it has obviously got very big but mission/values driven and the people they hire tend to be down to earth.
Outlook is strong, way ahead of anyone and have a great client portfolio (basically everyone).
Culture is great.
WLB coming from consulting I expect to be good.
Compensation could be better.
Also, Utah is amazing. Great tech scene, mountains right there, just a great place to be.
Hey - Utah boi here (grew up in Salt Lake), balls deep in the tech scene. Qualtrics is *very* LDS in terms of company culture & demographic makeup. This is something usually not considered by folks outside of Utah. Slide in my DM if you'd like a better understanding.
Utah *is* great, but it takes a good 5-10yrs here before you really get it. Significant glass ceiling at companies like Qualtrics, DOMO, & other post-IPO Utah tech companies for PoC, women & even white guys who don't conform (i.e. inked up).
FWIW, being pinged by them for customer success leadership, but extremely hesitant to bite.
Oooh this is definitely something I needed to hear because I am very…well LDS would probably think I’m running with the devil lol
Does the LDS culture include Qualtrics requiring a pre-employment drug screening? Asking for a friend ;)
