I have a question, fellow bowlaz! I work in a small advertising agency in Oslo, Norway, and we struggle to get in contact with international ad media such as Adweek (Ad Freak) and Ad Age whenever we want to show off our creative work. Does anyone of you have a way in, or tips on how we can get in contact with media outlets like these? Cheers

Every place is a bad place to start your career. It’s advertising.
There’s not any bad place to start your career
Keep working on spec campaigns so even if you're not doing good work at work you can still add to your book.
It would be a huge mistake to think you don't need to keep doing spec just because you now have a job.
Come work for us instead.
It’s where creatives go to be stripped of all creativity
If you have the luxury of choosing between Sapient and Droga then obviously you know what to do. Not too many juniors have that option, if this is your first job do as much work as you can, learn from other folks, network as much as possible and, listen to ACD1's advice regarding spec work.
Then once you think you had enough banners, get the hell out by using your network you've hopefully built.
If this is your first job in advertising, congrats! It's hard to get in anywhere.
@D1 it’s not a creatively driven place. Tech and business consulting is the majority of what is handled. Truly don’t care about the quality of the creative as much as strategy.
Depends on the office and account. If you’ll be writing web-copy exclusively, pass. If you’ll be working on social, experiential and generally more conceptual work, it could be a good fit.
Don’t do it. Your first job matters tremendously. Getting even 1 or 2 years at a place like droga on your resume is more valuable than 5 at sapient.
Don’t do it. Agencies will judge you for having that on your resume. Intern. Hustle. Do whatever it takes to get your foot in the door at a good creative shop
@Copywriter 2, I see people from Sapient on here all the time, that’s surprising to hear! What about it makes it a black hole in someone’s resume?
