agreed, seems pretty self indulgent almost to a comical degree
I've always found it a bit weird how much effort and resources we pour into ventures like this when there's still so much work left to do right here on earth
It's always great to see the ways in which we push the boundaries of what we dream to be possible. Regardless of what I think of the people pushing these projects, the fact is that being able to put people in space safely has always been an incredible feat
I think it is an excellent way to take advantage of people and to be allowed to do so.
I like it personally. I think it’s a good way to get indirect funding for all the research and development needed for all the other things we need to do in space
who cares? if people want to blow exorbitant amounts of money on a glorified joy ride that's their problem
