Why would you want to be a recruiter? That’s like the lowest form of life

If you have good people skills you might make great money in recruiting. As long as the market continues as is, the commissions seem to be high enough that a lot of accountants become accounting recruiters (f.k.a. headhunters). I don't know the amounts they are bringing in but it's clearly enough to entice a lot of people.
Ask yourself if you want to be a used car salesman. Because that’s pretty much all you are as a recruiter imo. (Had some bad experiences with them)
Sure: I was dealing with a recruiter and asked that he not send my resume to a company, because I already had a friend submit it. The guy did it anyway, and I only found out in the middle of the interview. Because of that I broke off contact with that recruiter. He then sent my resume to every contact he had. I spent a few months being told that companies already had my resume, and that they weren’t interested. It was a painful experience.
