Dealing with the same decision. Currently I’m 100% WFM for the foreseeable future in a software dev role at a bank. I have an offer on the table to go with a big defense contractor for $40k more but hybrid. 2 days a week in office. “In office” means a 3 hour commute one way. Not sure what to do.

I would not consider working for 1 of the big 4 banks a 9-5 job you’ll end up working before 9am and after 5pm. I’ve worked for 2 of the big 4 banks worked outside the 9-5.

Hi ladies! Need some advice on what to do here: For context: I live in Texas and work from home. I put in a request with my apartment to fix the ongoing air issues in my master bedroom. Working in my office used to be my primary source of work outfit inspiration but since working remote staying aware of what styles are in is nearly impossible. I live in a smallish town, so going out doesn't help fill in that awareness gap. Are there any online communities or slack communities where people talk about and share style inspiration I can wear at work? I'm 28, work in tech, and my office is a start up, so attire is casual. I'd also be interested in brands people follow.

I feel like his family doesn’t take my job as seriously (or when I say my hours are unpredictable and demanding), expects me to be both a housewife and work while doing WFH. Husband is great tho

Now that my school is completely in-person, I’m noticing that the students who were online last year are pushing back on everything we do in school. Following the most basic of rules, directions, or fun is a struggle. I teach 8th grade, but I coach in the high school. I’m seeing it across the board. Is anyone else seeing this too? Is your school or district addressing it with any preventative measures social-emotional supports?
