I’m a total lard ass after WFH for almost 2 years and I’m starting a new job that’s mostly in person. None of my cute work clothes fit to boot so I have to figure out what I’m going to wear while working on losing the weight. Great.
How do you make WFH work for you? Dealing with loneliness, inefficient communication with team, client, etc. thank you!
Going on a parental leave in a month. Anyone know of any remote, freelance/part time I can do to still make money on the side? Out side of Uber/Lyft etc
Anyone else goofing off while WFH? At the office I had to pretend to be busy, but no more pretending for me!

"The eight predictions, helpfully sorted into four themes, will be familiar to anyone who has read the business section of the Boston Globe. Remote work will be more common, business travel will be less frequent, childcare and housing are getting more expensive, inequality is worsening, public transit will be less popular, population growth will slow, and we need to retrain workers for a changing job market."
My firm recently announced that they were beginning a reservation system for hoteling starting February of 2022 for offices . We were told to clear out our offices by December 31,2022 . The lease is not up for renewal until June 2024 at which point they will look to reduce their office space due to a hybrid work model . My issue is what incentive do I have to make a reservation to go to an office when I can simply continue work from home hassle free. Any Thoughts and comments?

We’re looking for FL writers who know the business of the industry, and can tackle B2B content for product developers. Interesting brands and an opportunity to hop on the various ways they’re digitizing fast. DM me if you’re interested. Remote is totally cool.

I need a side job that I can work evenings and/or weekends that can generate at least $1000 extra dollars a month. I was thinking real estate but I know nothing about it… then I thought bartending but again, I know nothing about it… I don’t want to spend more than 20 hours per week working this side job and if it is remote AND contract, that would be great. Any advice?
Senior dev working alone in an office, everybody is remote. Thinking of moving to PHX to be fully remote myself, currently in LA. Lower COL. Change to buy house. I like heat. Thoughts? Why? Why not?

Hi ladies! Anyone deciding between living in Miami or NYC? 25F working in a tech role in the media and entertainment industry. I am supposed to move to NY (thought it would be better for my industry), but recently went to Miami and really liked it. My role is technically remote so it’s really a personal decision. Any advice?
Anyone else finding that there’s still not enough time in the day to get everything done— even with being home all day? WFH/Lockdown–1.... A Still Sleep-Deprived Attorney– 0 😂
My kid is blowing off steam and singing I don’t know what at full volume while I try to WFH.

What agencies in Canada have Sephora or any other beauty brands as a client? I know McCann has L’Oréal, but it’s mainly their French wing. Really want to pursue an opportunity to work on a beauty brand at some point. Thanks!

Considering to move out of NYC to enjoy fresher air and escape the urban grime. But I’ll miss the culture, food and connectivity to the rest of the world. Considering Boston/ Portland/ Denver... thoughts?
Why hasn't Lyft created a partnership with a credit card like Uber/Capital One? I feel like a lot of us would make the switch if they were partnered with Chase
I have a 2nd round of interview with a big tech company next week. Background: I applied a different position a year ago and got rejected in the 1st round. 1 year later, the same department reached me out and offered me an interview opportunity for a different position. The first round (with one of team member) went well and I got invited to the 2nd round interview with a hiring manager next week. And... I figured the interviewer is the person I interviewed last year who reiected me..! Continue
Mileage expense for airport drop off? I live about 65 miles from the airport in a rural area without Uber or Lyft. There are a few local services that do airport runs, but they book up in advance. My wife and I primarily work from so we only have 1 car. For a recent trip the car service was only available for the return airport transfer so my wife dropped me off at the airport. I’m planning to expense the round trip mileage - it would still be cheaper than the ride service. Thoughts?
Starting mba in the fall. Should I keep working until July/august in hopes voluntary layoffs with severance start or stop working in June (which was the original plan)?
Thoughts on moving to another agency if you feel you are not learning/being challenged/have meaningful work where you're at? Do I stick it out for 6mo-year or make the move somewhere else?
