You should definitely take it because you don't have to report the online score, it's considered different from taking it in person
So even tho you can't cancel, you can't just not report
(Someone can check me on this in case I'm completely wrong)
If you’re ready, you’re ready just take it. Also most people take it more than once, so gotta factor the timeline of it all into whether waiting is worth it
Thank you all. I’ll schedule to take my gmats online. I’ve been studying for ~3 months and feel ready so might as well take it online and retake it in person if needed.

I’ve been struggling with this decision as well, been studying about 4 months heavily and am ready. Had a few tests canceled from rona and got very discouraged so Ultimately decided to schedule an online gmat yesterday. Started using the online whiteboard and it’s honestly not thaaaat bad. For some scenarios it’s almost faster on certain question types while others will be slow. I think it’ll even out time wise at the end
@Analyst1 the whiteboard I'd say is faster for reading comprehension and maybe CR, if you're someone that takes notes when reading the passages, most ppl type faster than they handwrite (at least in my case) so you can save time there
I think it depends where you’re located. If you’re based in NYC and can only take it in the city it might be risky.
I’ve heard GRE is a better option right now because of the GMAT online format
The online GMAT has nuances, like you can’t have scratch paper, and can only use the online whiteboard. However, because it’s online you can take it in the comfort of your home and not have as much test anxiety. So it depends on which trade off you want to make
