How do you deal when you know you’re just so burnt out? I feel it— everything is magnified, home life feels more chaotic. I’m looking for jobs. Getting nowhere and lots of automated rejection notes. Work demands are never ending. We have staff, not the right staff, so a lot of work falls to me. I never get to turn off. It’s wearing. I’ve been trying “take care of myself” going to yoga, getting a drink with a friend, but the demands leave me feeling like I never get to be idle.

Is IB worth the sacrifice of WLB? Obvious pay is really good but are the prestige and pay worth it if you’re planning on only doing it for a couple years?

Currently working at an IRA with great WLB. Honestly I love my job, the firm, and people I work with.

Also doing MBA part time at a T15 school. Thinking about switching to IB but I’ve done my research and I think I would burn out of IB in two years but I might be ok with that for the opportunities after.

How do you make time for exercise with a full time job, studying etc? I feel like whenever I get into a regular workout routine it becomes a huge time commitment and it distracts me from doing other important things. I have been thinking of trying some ideas I heard like breaking my workout apart throughout the day in short 10-20 minute increments. Are there any other suggestions? 🤷‍♂️

Buying puts on GME? Am I too stupid to join the hedge fund losers that are potentially looking for idiots like me to take over their positions? But logically all short squeeze ends at some point. On Thursday when price dropped to $100 then rose back to $300, that’s the shorts covering their position so guessing squeeze is already coming to an end?

New to options. Why do you all buy UVXY options and not the ETF itself when u think the market is going to tank? Don’t options present the added complexity of vol and risk of order not filling?

i think i’m done with options for a while. a long while. while i was doing well recently intraday, my longer term short positions were getting blown out of the water. it’s exhausting watching them go to shit, and it’s also exhausting trading intraday. the whole thing is just exhausting. it’s hard to focus on anything else when you’re down.
