Advice needed-I’m 30 weeks pregnant and constantly getting dumped on at work (in industry now). I’m high risk (gestational diabetes & hypertension) and have been clear with my all male management team that I’m high risk. Still, they are steady trying to pull me into new projects while I’m actively leading one of the most high profile projects in the org. From a career standpoint, I appreciate it, but I cannot physically keep up the way I used to and feel like I’m risking my and my baby’s health.
Are there any RPA UiPath openings in any of the big 4? Is lateral recruitment happening for these roles? Thanks in Advance
Has anyone attempted to or actually yoloed by billing 2k hours for the year then just going awol on an extended vacation until the next year? Put that unlimited vacation time and those minimum hours to the test. Honestly can't see why I should essentially do work for free after hitting hours.
I see plenty of people go for a walk during the day, yet I hardly see any of my teammates appear “away” for 15/20+ minutes. I recognize that not everyone is in consulting, but can’t imagine that *none* of those walking are. Asking as a relative newcomer to the workforce: Is it acceptable to be away from work for more than just a few minutes, regardless of industry? If so, how can I feel comfortable stepping away to prioritize my health and well-being when so few of my teammates do so?
A bit past the halfway points. How’s everyone airline status looking? 50k MQM for me. 0 carryover from last year. Would love to hit 75k for Platinum by EOY
Just gonna put this out there: found out today that my pops had a kid out of wedlock. Kid is 24yrs old. Mom is crushed. That and I have my CRT on Friday. Fuck!!!!

This may sound odd but I want to eventually work at all the big 4. To me it'll be like collecting infinity stones. Once you work at all 4, what crappy super power do you get? Currently 25% of the way there
Last year was my 1st year reaching 50 Marriott nights and I didn’t receive any communication on the choice benefits. Agent kept saying 4 emails were sent to me. Did this happen with anyone else?
Hey everyone! I’m having a bit of trouble and I wanted to know if I can get some guidance. I have been on the same project for four years now and I’m doing great job. I’ve gone up in the ranks and now I am the clients right hand person. However in talking with my people manager, he wants to discuss where I plan on going in my career. And honestly, I haven’t really thought about it. I have always been raised to just do my job and go home. And honestly I’m fine with that. But when it comes to 1/2
Are there any women in this group who are reduced time in a transactional practice at a big law firm? I’d love to hear if you’re glad you made the switch or not, what has worked, what hasn’t. I’m contemplating moving to 80% now, and maybe 60% after I come back from a mat leave for my 2nd kid next year. FWIW, my practice group leader seems very supportive of whatever I choose and I am not up for any promotions for the foreseeable future.
