Can't even get >15% of partners to be women and this is what we're gonna fight for?
should keep it the way it is. Men and women separate bathrooms. who would benefit from a gender neutral bathroom
In the office anyway?
I think single use bathrooms should be gender neutral
^ agree, I think it’s a weird concept to have bathrooms where you see and talk to co workers anyway. All bathrooms should just be one person, that way everyone gets their privacy.
Quite possibly the worst idea I've heard
It’s funny y’all worried about seeing a female in the bathroom. when I’m here like if I see a male manager or other coworker I just avoid going and just wash my hands just to wait for them to be done 😂🤣 no need to say hi to the partner as I destroy the toilet
I love gender neutral bathrooms personally. No one ever goes in there so it’s super clean and quiet for my morning coffee poops. The only disadvantage is people start to question you if they see you walking into them
Since when is unnecessary and progressive not the same thing?
Are you folks not aware of the existence of gender nonbinary folks? If nothing else I think all large offices should have at least one non-gendered single stall restroom for (some) trans folk /nonbinary folk for whom restrooms can be a very difficult thing. Believe me this is more common than you think.
We got that in the bay
How is it inefficient @RSM? I can’t say I have ever used the same toilet as someone else at the same time, but maybe they do it differently @RSM you can have communal hand washing stations.
Single person bathrooms are so inefficient. I hate when bars do it.
i think gender neutral bathrooms in the bay area are catering to the LGBTQ community
Its inefficient in a bar bc there are no urinals. Way longer lines.
I don’t get who uses the neutral bathroom. If you’re mtf trans, use the female bathroom. If you’re ftm, use the male bathroom. I don’t think anyone is going to say anything at work if you’re wrong lol.
Who cares? It's a bathroom. I don't see other women's underbits or tits in a bathroom. Taking a shit is not a communal effort where I need to be concerned with the genitals of the person in the stall near me.
So they’re only putting them in as they remodel or switch offices, so slowly progressive as it’s convenient. Everyone can already use the bathroom for their gender (as it should be but perhaps progressive). Considering the number of transgender people at PwC, it’s probably excessive, but having A gender neutral bathroom in the office benefits a lot of people, not just transgender people, so I say necessarily progressive without going too far out of the way to do so
They should have at least one single occupancy restroom in each office. Problem solved
Progressive
Progressive IMO.
