Hi Fishes,
Recently interviewed with Tata Consultancy for developer position.
All rounds are completed. The interview went very good as mentioned by manager.
How much can I expect as compensation, or how much should I ask for ECTC.
YOE: 6.3 years
Tech: ServiceNow
CCTC : 8LPA
Currently holding offer : 14LPA
Thanks in advance
Hi fishes,I have around 5.2 yrs of hands on exp in data engg. and able to clear service based companies interviews easily. Now I want to switch to product based companies as I am looking for some good work, good salary but I am not really strong in dsa as it's not part of my daily work.I don't really use trees and graphs as part of my daily work.
How shall I switch to product based companies considering DSA is their 1st round itself.what level of DSA can I expect from companies for data engineer position?

Yes, it makes a difference if they're on the fence about you.
And depends on the school. Larger programs will care less than some of the more intimate schools (Wharton vs. Tuck)
It isn't a full differentiator, but it does show initiative and allows you to have more touch points with potential decision makers. You should visit and get an understanding of culture and environment as opposed to just ranking. When I applied, my first choice switched based on those visits.
Yes. Going there and being able to say the names of those you talked to shows next level commitment. Def important.
I visited a few schools last year and after spending 5 minutes in campus I knew I didn't want to go there. It's hard to tell whether a program will fit YOU without visiting in person. Also, some smaller programs like UT have a hard time extending admissions offers to people that don't visit in person. Those schools realize they're not as prestigious and want to make sure they're inviting students who actually want to go there.
Time to start planning visits. Thanks guys!
