I was told by my manager that I’ll be getting a promotion and a comp raise about a month and a half ago. It hasn’t happened yet and he keeps saying HR is slow to respond. Is there anything that can be done or do I just keep waiting around?

I'm a new adjuster but have great metrics and feel I'm doing fairly well. My family is struggling living paycheck to paycheck. PDM specialist at 96k. I have an option to select PDM Specialist 2 or PDM Manager for my promotion with the PPMD. Which one is advisable to prefer Pay wise? I am thinking to take PDM 2 to increase my base pay for the manager.

2.5 YOE, 6.2 LPA Mainframe, recently got an offer from TCS for Mainframe Developer position with 7.5Lpa. My project Director called me and willing to match the salary here in Cognizant. He said i will be eligible for yearly hike as well.

Please suggest if truly I will be eligible for yearly hike after being retained and is it good to stay overall.

P.S - TCS gave 7.5 on top of 5.1 LPA, 6.2 is what i got recently in April promotion for Associate.

I have my 3rd out of 4 interviews today for an internal transfer. This position wouldn’t be a promotion but rather a lateral move. 4 interviews? That’s more than an outside hire, the whole reason I’m being considered is my unique value I’ll be bringing to that department.

P.s my final interview is with my current manager who is NOT in charge of the new department… he also told me he didn’t think I was ready for the change when I initially told him I was making a move. Let’s see how it goes!
