Hi all! I’m inclined on taking up the CIPM training and certification exam. I’m already a certified Data Protection Officer in the Philippines. I intend on skipping CIPP as it applies to the US and EU.

How difficult was the exam? Can you share your experience studying for the CIPM exam? Is it advisable to skip CIPP?

Hearing conflicting advice to apply R1 or R2. One admission consultant said with my avg stats (700, 3.3, Female) apply R1. Another said schools are too aggressive R1 to maintain stats, so apply R2.

Whats the recommended line length for bullets on the resume portion? Is 4 lines too much? Even 3 lines a bit much? ...By the time I get to stating any numerical outcomes or “why” the accomplishment is special I usually spill over to the 3rd or 4th line. I’m still able to fit resume to 1 page but worried if lots of 3-4 liners are discouraged.

Have the GMAT in 3 weeks. Over the last month, I’ve been scoring in my target range on practice tests, but took one today and even though it felt good, I did very poorly (60-80 point drop). I know this is probably an outlier, but I’m tempted to take another practice test tmm to try to boost my confidence again. Is this a bad idea/ an overreaction?

Aside from Consulting / IB / PE / VC / FAANG product management — what are the other traditional jobs people usually recruit for? These jobs seem like pure clout chasing and high pay in the short term

Do you think it would be better to take a middle/ back office role at a higher level at a mega fund or stay in FDD if planning to apply to an MBA.
