I got another offer and planning to resign PWC but i joined PWC only 2 weeks back.Now i entered workday to resign it's showing Termination day is 23rd only.Ie is 15 days of serving notice period.

I have HCL offer for Pune. I've to go to Magarpatta office on day 1. Should I consider Magarpatta office as my work location from where I have to work ? Or this is only for reporting purpose and later they will ask me to work from some other location in Pune? Little confused on this because there are many HCL offices in Pune and Magarpatta is near to my home. HCL Technologies

Guy attacks cops with a blade - attacker is shot - sounds like a great excuse to destroy local businesses and maybe snag a new flat screen in the name of racial injustice.
Many here would argue that the cops should have recognized this as a mental health issue, run away and called some trained professionals to come in and deal with it. These people are willing to bet that the guy with the knife would not harm anyone.

These people would also be the first to call for strong brave police to save their dumb ass when they get attacked, and blame cops for not being there to save them any time something bad happens to them.
This all could have been averted had a social worker been there...

Unfortunate. Seeing the mom trying to calm her son down and knowing he was shot in front of her regardless is hard to process.
Given the current policies on police shooting where we prioritize the safety of officers over assailants, I would assume this is legal.
That being said, I’d be in full support of considering a revision on current police protocols to mimic other nations where they place a higher burden on the officers to attempt de-escalation.
Any transfer of burden onto the officers MUST work simultaneously with a significant extension of paid training periods and higher pay.
