YES. That is literally the only time I've watched CNN over at least the past decade. And I'm a Democrat - but CNN transcends partisanship, it's just garbage.
Old people get their news from TV. Stupid people get their news from Joe Rogan.

I don’t get why people hate joe rogan. He has interesting folks on and gives them 3 hours to talk to their points of view, a muchhhh better platform than cnn, msnbc or Fox News to discuss ideas. He gets labeled as a lot of things he is not, namely anti trans and anti vax
Most bashing him have probably listened to his show or and the most likely reason is they bash him because they are brainwashed and told to do so by the MSM

What happened to scholarly unbiased journalism. These are all polarizing talking head/commentary shows and all-caps sensationalism.
TV shows compared to a podcast? It’s all fake ratings because users know what they represent. Show me number of viewers.

Sort of close. American culture is firmly rooted in individualism and the cause of the underdog. So naturally we gravitate to well marketed movements that on the surface scream "resist" or "less government ", but in actuality are often political movements by large , rich, or powerful organized groups.
What does surprise me is the effectiveness of conspiracy theories to influence behavior. The growing complexity of society and ubiquity of high tech in an individual's daily life may be spurring a reactionary trend among people who crave simplicity or fear getting lost or left behind. And, the empowerment of some of these from social media platforms and reinforcement from the same and from influencers (refuse to call them journalists) is clearly creating a societal problem large enough to throw an entire political party into serious dysfunction.
I blame the Boomers. Their generation is surely the Irresponsible generation. Or the Bad Parents generation.

It’s so odd, bc I see Joe Rogan and have heard him speak and I can’t help but think his approach is so much more akin to compliance. It’s a fake sort of half resistance.
Also, pretty sure “the daily” by NYT is number 2.
