Would it be difficult to get a job in IA if most of my experience has been auditing private non-404 asset mgmt funds? I really enjoy process walkthroughs when I have them though. Also, does title matter that much in IA? I’m a manager now, but based on job descriptions it looks like I might have to go for a senior auditor role because audit manager roles generally call for 8+ years from what I’m seeing. I applied for a Director Sales Strategy & Ops role via a referral. I did interviews with 4 people in the past few weeks and negotiated my offer from $280k TC to now $350k TC.
