Thoughts on transitioning from a copywriting role to medical? I started as an HCP copywriter after getting my PhD. It feels like I’m wearing two hats and also serving as the medical lead for my team. Although I’m making a decent salary and like my job, I think the medical team probably makes a bit more and gets to focus on one task. I’m feeling a little underpaid and overworked. Anyone know if it’s worth making the change?

I was wondering if the review course “CPE Self Study Course” for the CFF was enough preparation to study and pass the CFF exam. The CFE review course was enough and like if you get a question wrong it explains it well so that when it comes up in a different way in the real exam you can still get it. But when I saw the outline for the CFF material and there seems to be a lot of topics so I was wondering if the review course was sufficient considering this exam is also multiple choice. Thanks!

I began a new position 2 months ago and took on a managerial position where I oversee a team and a week ago, my manager and I was discussing a delay that happened and how she gave my team feedback and suddenly she said to me that she doesn’t mind restructuring the team and make it a team where everyone reports to her. She also said that the only reason she is “allowing” me to lead is to gain management experience. I was shocked because I got hired as an experienced manager. What would you do?

Does anybody else have clients that want to be “innovative” and “disruptive” but the second you share a really cool, insightful, big idea with them that’s on strategy they proceed to fumble like fools and just want to focus on basic block-and-tackle tactics and never actually do anything that’s innovative?

I’ve been dealing with this for years and I never understand why some clients sell themselves as disruptive when they’re scared to do anything daring or spend any money.
