8 hours or 10 hours for videographer? We have our photographer for 8, but the additional 2 hours for the videographer to do 10 is only $300 more so thinking we might as well go for 10… Planning to do a first look and want footage of getting ready through to reception but also have heard you don’t need them to stay for too much of the reception as it also kind of looks the same after a while?

Do I start searching for photographers for an an engagement shoot now, or do I wait until I’ve signed with the planner and they’ll provide recs for photographers? Q 2: my fiancé and I are of drastically different skin tones (south Indian female / Irish white male) and I’m nervous about how pics will turn out. How do I ensure the photog knows how to optimize our skin tones? TY!

If I find my dream wedding dress in Chicago, I’d like to order it to be shipped to a store in LA so that I can have my fittings throughout the year without having to travel back to Chicago.
