Hi All,
Persistent Systems is giving 10% variable on gross annual CTC. HR says you would receive minimum 70% of variable pay every month and remaining 30% will credited once a year at the end.
Does anyone has idea on this? Can I believe this and include 70% variable in my take home

From the employer side, I could see how having more and more fully remote employees could lead to employees having a disconnect to the companies they work for. It could cause a lack of company identity and belonging or attachment. For some, company culture tends to be important, and it's hard ot build a culture around community when there's a sense of detachment
Totally agree. Also Employees can be more innovative when work from office
I would love to go to the office. The inspiration from teamwork isn't the same at home
100% Agree
Right there with you. As long as the work gets done and we don't mind communicating virtually with our team, then it shouldn't matter where the work gets done
Meetings once a month in the office would be reasonable.
Correct, now the time came when every body is comfortably handling there work life and personal life at WFH. companies are planning back to office programs which is not at all required.
Glad that you are able to balance both work and life. But not everyone
I come to the office to get into Zoom meetings. Doesn't make any sense....
People from bangalore, who don't stay near to their companies will definitely not prefer to go to office, just because of huge traffic.
As an introvert I do not prefer going to office at all. Plus the traffic, used to waste 2 hours daily just for a 7 km ride. Let the extroverts go to office please and have all the "connect" with their company and fellow team members. I just want to do my work and be done with it. I can't talk to people much or go on stupid outings.
100% true
I would love infinite flexibility. WFH a full month and then come to office for a week. Or vice versa..
