Are accounting concepts typically tested during case studies for an FA role? I did a few interviews and they sent me files with accounting work (P&L, B/S, calc rev, COGS, etc) but idk if accounting and finance are just super related and that's why

I am currently working as a L3 HR associate partner and is looking to move into a L4 HR partner role but my manager keeps saying I should shadow someone in order to know whether the L4 role is for me. This will be a slightly weird post.
I recently joined pwc, last month(first company, I'm a fresher). The work life is quite good as of now, I'm getting trained in SAP, got assigned to a project too.
But I'm feeling restless, whenever I am not doing my office works, I'm going through Linkdn; practising sql, dsa. I also spoke with a few guys for possible referrals in future.
I feel like I should chill out for atleast a 2-3 months, but I'm having trouble relaxing my mind.
