How do you make defined name ranges stay the same when the source is changed in power query? I’ve been really struggling.


I have a model with many defined name ranges in it that are referenced throughout. Each named range is set to be 250 rows long that way it works as long as the data set has less than 250 responses. However, when I switch the data source in PQ, it inexplicably shortens all my named ranges by around 4-6 rows (for example, one that was $B$3:$B$252 becomes $B$3:$B$246). Help?

5th year corporate associate, currently interviewing for in house rules. I got an offer for $250k all in (including salary and bonus) but feel like that is a little lower than what was expected. I hate my job. Absolutely despise it. Wake up/go to sleep every day with a heavy dread for the future. Grind my teeth in my sleep. Gaining weight. Blood pressure spikes whenever my phone goes off. Becoming unable to hide my disdain for coworkers and clients on calls, emails, etc. Have a loving and supportive partner but feel like I can't relate to her at all because she enjoys her work. I don't want to go back to my post-graduation poverty but damn, at least I felt like I was a real person.
