Research the industry average for the title (AS I assume?). Can also check your specific agency on glass door. Arm yourself with that info to make a case for why you deserve more.

Start a list of all of your contributions- managing projects, success of campaigns, positive client feedback. Especially since you’ve been reaching up to fill the open role.

Would also get your agency job descriptions and familiarize yourself with the AS role. Use this to indicate what you’ve been doing to show you’re performing at that level.

If you don’t ask for it, you likely won’t receive it (in a timely manner). Good luck!

Hi, OP - this is a very frequent question on here and in the main feed. It might be helpful to use the looking glass icon and search for "promotion" as well as "raise" to see various threads on the topic. I hope it helps.

Thank you!!

Hi! Experienced hire here! What is the best practice when asking your peers who are not on your team for assistance? I think I messed up my promotion opportunities by asking my senior or manager all of my questions that could be asked to my peers first. But, for some reason I get the worst anxiety when having to reach out for assistance to others outside my team.

I have an upcoming interview for an internal transfer/promotion into an L4 workforce staffing role and wanted to see if I could get some insight as to what I should expect for the interview and what exactly the role entails such as responsibilities and daily tasks. This is my first time interviewing for an L4 role and just wanted to know what to expect before going into the interview (I’ve done a few interviews for L3 positions).

Hi ppl,
I heard that for hike, promotion input about performance is taken from TL and teammates and Lumos plays only a very minute role in it. Is this true?

Recents accepted a verbal offer from a recruiter for a promotion to a lead position. When I receiver the offer letter it was for $1 less per hour than what was stated over the phone. I went back to the recruiter and told him this and was told “If I did say that amount that isn’t correct” and that the calls weren’t recorded. I’ve already been waiting a month for an offer and I know it’s a small dollar amount of a difference but I can’t help but feel like I was lied to. Would you withdraw or no?

Has anyone here successfully exited to pharma after 1-2 YOE? Currently an SA at a small NYC market access firm with a wide range of projects under my belt for big pharma clients. I'm anticipating a promotion to AC perhaps this fall or winter, but I'm at a crossroads where I'm not sure if I want to continue consulting to the actual consultant level. Currently make $100k with a 10% bonus, would I even get a higher salary in industry at this stage? Also might be worth noting I have an MPH. Thanks!

Is it awkward to bring up the possibility of annual merit raise (usually done at end of year) with my boss now? It seems the job market is cooling a bit and I might lose some leverage if I wait longer to bring this up, in case the economy turns for the worse. But it being June now just makes timing a bit awkward and worried it might come off negatively/too self serving

About 6 months ago I applied for a team lead role and didn't get it. My boss, in recognition of my efforts (and maybe being a little scared that I'd quit) gave me a 13% raise, and minor promotion to get better clients. NOW I applied for another team lead role (2nd interview soon, wish me luck), if I get it, could withhold a raise from me? Or maybe short me on a raise because I already got a bump this year? I haven't had the convo yet, just trying to be prepared.

Hey everyone! I recently graduated this past December and started my current role January 24th. Just this morning I had a recruiter from Meta reach back out to me about a role I applied too last month. Should i schedule an interview with the recruiter? What if it goes well? Would it look bad if I quit my current position to take this role if I end up getting an offer? One reason I would want to switch is because the pay would most likely be a lot higher at Meta then in my current position.
