It will be a sort of role-play demo session, where the team will want to understand how I present, how I manage a room, how I keep my audience engaged and also your technical abilities when asked regarding the solution. I have a liberty to choose any data science related product. I am essentially confused as to what product to choose, and how to structure the presentation. How long after a TAS / FDD interview can one expect to hear about a potential offer?

I'm in the process of my job search where I'm sending so many emails.

My question: how long after I've sent my email, seen they've opened it, and clicked my link, should I follow up with them? 2 weeks after no reply? 3?

Or should I just assume they passed on considering me?

Have first rounds with Mck coming up and am fairly confident with all aspects of the interview except for the quantitative portion. My issue is moreso with going about how to solve the question rather than the actual calculations. Does anyone have any general resources or tips on how to practice this? I have been told going through GMAT problems could help as they are more business-centric. Will appreciate any and all advice - thank you!

Need some advice—I’m 26wks pregnant and interviewing for new job Monday. They know I’m pregnant already. If they offer me the job, I’ll probably work for 9wks before needing to go out for the baby. How should I negotiate maternity leave? I won’t be eligible for FMLA, but I’ll do the state leave after birth for 8wks. Should I ask them to grant me a few weeks of paid leave as a PTO advance? CTC: 7.5 lkh

Had few doubts :
1. How is work related to devops and cloud ?
2. Since the tavisca is taken over by JPMC , are all policies and benefits are now applicable to current tavisca employees ?

Is it foolish to put more then $1-2k into an S&P tracked index fund per month? I’ve finally reached the stage as a senior associate where I’ve been able to save a nest egg so much less fear of getting fired and loans are close to paid off. I still live like I have my junior associate salary but have been socking cash in savings/house down payment over the years. I’ve heard an S&P tracked index fund is a slow and steady way to grow wealth and I’d feel comfortable putting in $2-3k/month toward one

Can’t decide if I’m being ghosted by a partner or if I’m just reading into it. Had a good discussion about a matter that we wrapped up and then I went on vacation. Had an interview last week. Recruiter (who is a recruiter for the firm itself as I applied directly) emailed me today asking how I thought the interviews went. Does this mean anything? Wouldn’t a recruiter only reach out to schedule another round of interviews or to reject you? Haven’t heard back since replying this morning.

You see people being fired where the actual reason is for instance hooking up with the CEO’s young female crush, or speaking up about issues in the workplace.

Even the most innocuous detail can be turned against an employee. Eating lunch at your desk can e.g. easily be labelled as being ‘uncooperative’.

How do you all take care of things outside of work? The last thing I want to do after being hyper-organized at work is figuring out my budget or retirement plan or scrubbing the bathtub or figuring out what to buy at the grocery or planning a vacation. I feel so burnt out I can only just sleep on weekends and can’t bring myself to go out or even do basic self care. I feel bad putting this all on my husband and how would I even have the energy to raise kids??
