1. Take a look at your biggest expenses - housing, car, auto insurance
2. Do not buy in bulk. Counterintuitive, but buying in bulk leads to waste as no one can really predict their consumption accurately.
3. Find a hobby that you enjoy that doesn't involve spending a lot of money.
4. Cook your own meals

Don’t date and don’t get married.....unless you’re a woman
I would change that to say don’t go on a bunch of first dates and not subsequent dates! As feminist as I am, I expected a guy to pay for a first date but my fiancé and I split costs.
I would also add, consider your social circle. If all your friends are going out a lot and spending on unnecessary items, you’re going to do the same. Not saying to ditch them; just temper your interactions. It’s easy to be frugal when you are fulfilled.
Second this. It does make a huge difference. Especially seen the stark contrast during a shorter period of time when traveling with friends.
Coupons when eating out- ubereats, grubhub etc. offer so many discounts that can save 5-10 bucks. Every penny saved is a penny earned.
Cook at home instead of eating out
