Hi IBM sharks 🦈
So I got interviewed for a project by the IBM team. The interviewer told me that its a go ahead from their end, now the client will assess my profile and if they too are fine with it, I will be onboarded?
Is it true that we have client interview as well? If yes then after how many days of interview by IBM team, client interview takes place?
Or its just that if the IBM team is fine with it, we are selected for the project?
Any inputs on this will really help :)
I had a recruiter reach out to me from Google 3 years ago about a role she thought I would be good for. She really advocated for me to be in the role but the hiring managers didn’t feel like I was qualified.
We had a discussion and she gave me a lot of good feedback on how I could be a stronger candidate and encouraged me to reach out to her directly for future opportunities. Fast forward to now, I’ve gained a lot of experience and skills. Should I reach out even though it’s been 3 years?

Hi everyone! Curious if anyone here works for Slack and can shed a little light on the culture and perhaps offer a referral for an associate brand manager position I just saw on LinkedIn. With the Salesforce acquisition are SF employees allowed to refer for Slack roles? Currently a senior analyst with 4 YOE looking to break into a branding role! Thanks in advance.

Also, how is work divided amongst the team. Do folks specialize or handle specific business units. For small legal departments or understaffed departments, you may be working just as much as if you were in big law. It’s best to know that upfront as well as opportunity for growth.
I would ask about their strategic plan for the legal department. What are their goals and objectives for the department, especially short term.
Ask them what problems they are working to solve and follow with how your efforts can contribute to resolution. Give specific examples

Ask whether there’s room for growth and what that looks like. I just landed an in-house role and they loved that question. Plus you want to know whether you’ll be siloed and/or stuck doing the same thing.
