It’s not so much about packing but finding ways to launder your clothing while abroad. Usually a carry on + small backpack can get me through 5-8 days. I stagger my laundry days that way and can last for a couple of months doing this.
How in the world do you manage even that? I’m impressed.
When I traveled for 6 weeks, I ended with a rather large checked luggage AND a carry-on. Plus my backpack (not very big). 😂 I’m the worst.

Once you hit 2-3+ weeks it makes no difference bc you have to do laundry. 1 month suitcase is the same as a 6 month suitcase bc either way I’m washing clothes every couple weeks.
The easiest way to approach it is to pack just one pair of pants or shorts and then buy all the rest of your clothes and underwear at the location that you're traveling to. Then once you're ready to travel to the next location, just donate everything or toss it. You can get clothes for cheap everywhere and really you'd only need like 3 days worth of outfits since you can wash them at your hotel. It shouldn't cost you more than $100 per location. Just a consider it a convenience tax for the pleasure of traveling very lightly and allowing you to a shop for stuff that you actually want to bring home with you and put in your suitcase.
People in other country do use washing machines and dryers. 😁😁
