Tips for prepping for pe interviews without dropping $$$ on courses?

Thinking on transitioning from auditing to transaction advisory. Currently a 1 yr senior. Anyone that can shed some light as to day to activities, compensation expectation and interview process would be great.

Had first round interview with Hiring manager (VP). He liked my background and said would get back to me in a few days. Is a thank-you email still recommended? If so, what should it say? Also, the recruiter setup the interview. Do I send the email to the recruiter?

I recently finished my 3rd round of interview in stripe which went good. Now it's been 8 days that team has not come back with an update for next steps. How long is a good time to wait for an update?...or should I move on?

Anyway that I can transfer to a north American office (my current location) before I join? SO can't move to Dubai and while applying they didn't interview me for my current location just for the Dubai one.

Amcat do not allow switching window, all questions subjective. The company is expecting to remember code and write from an 8 year experienced person.

I have two job offers in front of me: option A: join a team I’ve worked at before, where I have C-suite support, with one person in particular guiding and advocating for me, but fewer exit opportunities because this company operates in a niche. Option B: join a team where I have to prove myself from scratch, build networks and relationships, and potentially have better exit opportunities because it’s a globally and locally recognized brand name. I’m working as an allocator in market neutral public market strategy funds; am about to be recommended for a promotion to associate. However, an analyst position just opened up internally in Credit, which is where I aspire to be for the next ten years. More growth and more intellectual challenge. I’m conflicted about applying for a lateral transfer and losing out on a promotion. Will I be missing out a promotion or should I negotiate a promotion as part of my application to this role ?

A new analyst has joined our team and we often give them models/ slides but don’t always ask them if they know all of the accounting principles to be able to make minute adjustments to EBITDA or free cash flow. We are a FIG platform, so the knowledge required is relatively unique as well and not as easy to google as corporate transactions. Is there a better way to coach the analyst short of just throwing them in the deep end to figure it out or should we wait for them to ask us for help?
