Hey Googlers, I’m going in for my GCP TAM second round on Monday and had a few QQs for you all:
1. For the RRK2 case study if there is a scenario for handling peak time workloads where the client did a lift & shift of a monolithic architecture, is the best suggestion to move them to micro services to enable serverless and auto scaling features?
2. I was told that they’ll give me 15 mins to prep after the case study is shared live, would you suggest I build a 1 pager or is that not required?Google

I just had this conversation with my supervisor 3 days ago. I’ll be taking the PHR at the end of next quarter. She said once I get about 6 months of experience with the certification under my belt I’ll move up to generalist. I have 2 years of recruitment experience and 1 full year of coordination experience under my belt right now.
I would suggest trying to move up in your position now, or making sure you have a solid 2 years old coordinator/HR experience before submitting to generalist positions.

I'm about to hit 3 years of experience and will be taking the PHR once I hit that 3 year mark. I have the same goal so my manager wants me to take the PHR and continue to get experience in all HR disciplines.
