Exactly! I'm still very excited!
Don't worry, it's better to be happy and enjoy yourself. So just ignore them.
The time has come friend, I think that this year will be different despite everything it was not as bad as last year, let's have faith that it will be better.
WOW, I thought it was just me, but many people are the Grinch many times they give me a bad answer for wishing happy holidays, I really have no way of guessing who will have a good holiday and who will not.
Despite the fact that many people are rude with their response, many others are extremely kind, it is something that I love about this situation, and we hope that this year everything will improve.
In our store (Christmas decorations) we don't have that problem, that is, whoever is going to buy Christmas decorations obviously enjoys all the famous dates of these months, so I always have a nice answer.
There are people to whom it is clear that you should not wish them anything, but they are usually company policies, what I mean, it is clear that they will not have a good time and that they are not comfortable and since we are an easy target to insult us they give a bad answer immediately.
Ugh, I completely get what you're saying. The holidays can get rough for us retail workers, hopefully things pass by peacefully until January and then the madness will be over.
As a retail worker, don't even try to wish me a happy holiday. I would love to be all merry if I were at home, not if I work on Christmas Day! Maybe next year I'll have better luck.
It's that time of year again where everyone gets offended if you don't say "Merry Christmas." I don't understand why people are so sensitive about this. It's just a phrase.
I know what you're saying is true, but I don't mind though, because I know that I'm wishing others a joyous time. I hope you all have a happy holiday season!
I'm not a huge fan of getting yelled at, so I'll just say "Merry Christmas!" instead. Being from the South, I am too familiar with this situation.
Maybe I should start saying Happy Hanukkah this year instead.
There is no right answer :/ whether you say Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays, someone is going to get annoyed. Last year I got int the habit of not saying it at all unless I was wished something first (and then I would repeat it back to them).
