I should, but I don't. I'm usually pretty tired after work and really am not in the mood to go home and then come back to school for a concert. 😞

We are required to attend the concerts to help with our class. I will also go to the kids' games on the weekend. They always invite me to their games and tournaments.

Absolutely, when I can. Love to see the culmination of students’ hard work!

Absolutely. I go to as many events as I can.

Gets me in the spirit!

Went in the old days but as soon as I walked in I became a parent asked me to monitor student behavior for the senior high band while the junior high played. I had gone to enjoy the concert as my nephew was in the junior high group. That happens all the time at events. It’s like they think I’m there to supervise students.
I just stopped going.

Hello,
My LWD in Sap was in August 2022.
I have not yet received any communication on relieving and experience letter as well as full and final settlement info. Mailing to HRdirect and several follow-ups had no responses.

Anyone who left SAP recently, please when did you receive these documents?

Thanks

How to politely decline unsolicited advice? A colleague of the same pay grade as me is leading a task and I am helping him with it. He keeps giving me unsolicited suggestions and feedback in shared chat, and he blamed me for something in a group call. I am scared that this is making me look bad in front of others when I am doing all the work assigned the best I can. How do I let him know I don’t want his advice? Is it okay if I ignore his advice or will it come off as rude?

What are you reading over break for your own enjoyment? My favorite authors are Bill Bryson, Garrison Keilor, Jodi Picoult, and Maeve Binchy. My favorite book to come out this year was Where the Crawdads Sing.

So, I really ****ed up today and don’t really know what to do. W/O getting into specifics, I tried to do something nice, which involved telling a lie, and then got sort-of caught, but then lied again to cover my ass, and it’s spiraled out of control and now I don’t know what to do. Obviously I need to come clean, but I just really, really f’ed up and am freaking out. Everything has been so freaking stressful lately that I’ve done things I never thought I would & don’t even know who I am anymore.

Last Spring I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. When I was diagnosed, I think I had had it for several years. My doctor put me on a diabetes med (my A1C was 10.2 and my blood sugar was 270). I knew I didn’t want to deal with the adverse effects of this disease, so I made some drastic dietary changes, started exercising, and brought my blood sugar down. I am now back in the pre-diabetic range, and I got off my diabetes meds. I lost 40 lbs. and feel great! Take care of yourselves! It’s important
