TMI question, but i stopped nursing my second kid 2 years ago and I’m still producing a trickle of milk. Does this ever go away? I even had undersupply, so it’s not like I have bionic boobs!

Mine stopped producing completely after a particularly bad bout of norovirus. You’re just a few daycare germ induced illnesses away from no more leaking :)

A particularly effective diet, especially when I didn’t even eat any cubes of cheese!

Mine went away completely, but I would get like… tiny bits of residue (?) still in my nipples occasionally. So it was probably the same thing you have but just way less. Now I’m back to nursing baby number two… so can’t say if that ever goes away. The things we do for our kids. SMH.

I can’t speak to it, but had to give you kudos for bionic boobs. Love it.

Hmm you probably have already but I would talk to your doc. I don’t think that’s “normal” per say although probably no reason to freak out either.

I can get some “liquid” out if I try (this is normal) but I don’t leak. I think if you leak your should just dbl check with your doc maybe have your prolactin level checked. I would guess that this is probably normal - our bodies are weird.

Stopped nursing about 1.5 years ago and I still get a small drop every now and again. I usually only notice it once it’s dried because otherwise I assume it just soaks into my bra. And yes, if I squeeze a very small amount can still come out. My PCP wasn’t concerned and said this can happen for many reasons including stimulation. She was more concerned if it looked abnormal like infection (green/yellow) or bloody.

Anyone watching Indian Matchmaking? Aparna and her mother have to be the worst, right? She thinks she's a godsend and quite frankly she looks like a potato, is ignorant, doesn't sound nearly as intelligent as she professes to be, and is even more negative than I am! That's gotta say something.

Asking this question here for a reason. In our culture and set up, a majority of the time is spent in cooking. We usually don’t eat microwave meals. I want to understand how Indian families cope up with all the traveling associates with consulting. Does the mother or father usually stay at home or be in a “light” job?

Ingredients: Italian tuna packed in olive oil, capers, red chili flakes, garlic, anchovies, baby spinach, roasted panko bread crumbs with lemon zest, Italian parsley, black olives, black pepper and lemon wedges.

What age were you when you had each kid? I'm 32 and we are trying for our first. SO is 36. But the endless relentless lectures from the women of my family about why "it's so late! Hurry! It's going to be impossible soon!!" is driving me insane. Ideally I would want it to be planned and natural, not IVF or anything, but you never know.

I feel like my kids 1st grade teacher is being too strict, but I'm not sure if this is normal or I'm being sensitive because it's my child. E.g. she gave him 2/10 for his math homework because he doodled on the page, colored in the circle that has the page number, didn't draw the word problem neatly, wrote his last name under the name line, and says some of his numbers aren't legible. All his answers were correct, except one where he forgot to fill in the blank. Is this normal? X-posting

Started as a baby legal assistant about ten years ago at a transactional firm - now the majority (seven years) of my experience is in litigation. I am wanting to move more toward transactional or in-house now. Am I basically starting completely over? I am well respected and sought-out in litigation, but I'm unsure of how to market myself in the direction I want to go with as much confidence. Has anyone successfully made this move?

Our nanny takes my 7 month old out for one, sometimes 2, long walks every day (weather permitting). Love the idea of fresh air every day but its often for several hours at a time and he always returns home crying bc she's pushed him to his limit between feedings. She brushes it off saying hes just fussy which kind of irks me. Im also concerned that he's spending too much time strapped in a stroller. Is it reasonable to ask her to take shorter walks? Am I overreacting?

For moms in California - can anyone explain to me how the FMLA/Paid Leave works in coordination with EY’s sixteen weeks? It seems that all the new moms take 6 months and I’m trying to figure out how that works if we’re only given 16 weeks. My husband and I are currently waiting for an adoption placement so I have no idea when I’ll need to use it, but I’m hoping it’s sometime soon :) Since I’m not actually pregnant, asking these questions feels weird, but I keep reminding myself it’s okay. TIA!

What are our thoughts about physically fighting a belligerent woman as a man? Genuinely curious, I'm a Male and had a woman get physically aggressive with me yesterday and I could tell she was about to throw hands. Luckily the situation was de-escalated. But it got me thinking I have no idea what I would've done if she out her hands on me... My personal opinion used to be never put my hands on a woman unless my child or family is in danger or if she had a weapon But now Idk anymore
