To all my Minorities in America:
With election season coming to a close and racism being more alive than ever, I hope that you find some sign of optimism regardless of the election results. We’re nowhere near where we need to be, but I do wish we can still hold on to the hope. It’s been a tough year, but our resilience as minorities is what builds our character and keeps us going. Sending positive energy to all my people of color out there ✊🏽

I have landed an executive assistant position right after graduation. I have been here for a year and am looking to consider my options. I was also wondering if my 3-year diploma in financial planning can be considered experience from an employer POV? Moreover, how much did your first landed job after graduation pay? TIA

I would love to work at Microsoft. Currently hold a TS clearance, 4.5 years in project management, bachelor’s degree in Business. Applied now to hopefully have my resume in the system but would like to stay here at Booz at least until the end of Q1 of 2023. (Applied for a position but was rejected possibly due to being 4 months under the desired experience)

If there are any recommendations I can do on my end from now until then I would love to hear them!

Is this bowl essentially and specifically for non-white/race minorities in the business? I'm a white immigrant in the U.S., so I guess I'm in the wrong place?😊 Not sure since there are a lot of different categories of minorities.

My agency is opening up applications for a DE&I Committee leader for the first time. This person will be responsible for overhauling how the agency approaches diversity, including employee training, internships, new business model and client communications. However, the role is a voluntary one-year term with no extra pay or incentive. There is no budget for this person to be trained themselves. How are your companies handling new diversity leadership? How should I voice my concern?

Any HR professionals here? I need to know:Just started a new role and I was in a virtual meeting for new hires discussing benefit questions with our HR reps. Isn’t that information confidential or at the very least, personal?
