I am currently in industry, but was a Senior in Accounting Advisory, and before that an audit associate. I’m thinking of trying DDV at PwC as I’ve always been interested in M&A integration, but am unsure on carry over of skills and also would like to go somewhere I can be bumped to Manager as I was almost there prior to leaving industry. I know they are on a hiring spree so would coming in as a Manager be possible? I’ve previously been on M&A audit/AAS engagements.

I am about to complete one year in the role of an LMS Admin next month. My team wants to extend my contract, however, they’re only willing to increase my annual salary by a couple of thousand dollars. They’ve also mentioned that at this point they cannot offer me a permanent role.
I am torn because I like the culture and my team but it’s a bummer that they’re only willing to give a small hike.
I’m not sure if should stay or actively start looking for opportunities else where. What should I do?

I had submitted my resignation a few days ago. It’s been an emotional few days sharing the news with the different teams that I work with. Everyone seems upset and I feel like I’m leaving my family, but the other job has better benefits/pay.

Has anyone else had this feeling? Leaving a company/people that you’re so close with for the unknown at a new position? Not sure if the feeling of guilt/emotions will pass once I officially leave

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone else has tried to prepare, physically, in case they become infected with Covid. In March, I started to consistently and intentionally excersize and eat better. I wasn't in the BMI weight range that the CDC says is concerning, but I have gained muscle and lost weight. I know some people have diabetes and other health concerns that they may be able to change or lessen. Any others making changes in their bodies? I know the mental preparation is a whole other thing.
