I get the enthusiasm but is this a realistic answer? You think executives are just going to eat the taxes by themselves? Actual questions - not disagreeing

I’m actually a PhD at a M7 who studies econ (granted I’m micro but I’ve passed my macro qualifiers). Corporate taxes were around 35% until December 2017. We had a booming economy. Granted, we will likely take a hit in GDP, but corporate taxes really aren’t the problem IMO. The reason we’re in this position is the incentive to conduct stock buybacks by corporations. We’ve misaligned the structures to where taxes = always bad because corporations can mishandle money and expect government subsidy
This is the answer I was looking for. Thank you.

Whartons nonpartisan analysis says that it could lower GDP, not to mention act as an additional tax on anyone with a 401k (estimated at 1% additional for those below 400k, 17% for those above 400k)

He has to win mid-term in 2 years after he gets elected. He would not raise itl. Obama kept Fed interest rate low and Biden is smart enough to not open a can of worms.

Eh, (0 x 21%) = (0 x 28%)

Whatever government taxes corporations, the corporations will charge you, the consumer. Just look at any telecommunication company today and their “government mandated taxes and fees”.
