To anyone that made the switch from account management to project management, what made you pull the trigger?

I am a SAP SD MM Consultant, Infosys.YOE 4
I am looking for a switch.
I have cleared 1st round at KPMG.
In the L2, managerial round, is there any chances of getting rejected? There were only technical quest asked. I feel I could not clear it as HR gave m the feedback that interview said I am working on a support project in Infosys. There are other things as well in feedback but this was something strange.

I am struggling mightily at managing stress in a job/career I am not happy in. I took the job when my wife was in law school to pay the bills and I’m 5 years in. I desperately want to make a career change now that it’s financially feasible, but I don’t really know what my experience could translate to. I am an Asst Project Manager for a general contractor and have helped manage several $100M+ projects.

I have come for RTO after withdrawing resignation only to hear from the security guard that I'm TERMINATED from client end! I have not received a single mail on it. Rather, Accenture retained me for the same client's project. My AVP, Manager, HR all aware. They are telling I'm on Accenture payroll. I got a re on-boarding email from client end today too. I joined Accenture 5 months back as a lateral hire ( Level 11 ) and have been a part of a project since day one.

I am not enjoying my work here, no motivation at all. Dreaded to report to work and having stress and anxiety. My manager is trying to micromanage me as productivity is on the lower side.

Another thing is, I have started to dislike my current tech and no more interested in it.
What are my options here ?
Is project release possible ?
or I have to put down papers ?

I have not been on a project for over 3 months. Since I joined, I have been put in training. The training got extended by a month and now it's close to 4 months since I joined and without a project.

What should I do? People say that I'm lucky to get paid without doing any work, but it is stressing me out. I need the experience. The uncertainty is freaking me out, with rumours of layoffs and the certification program and all.

How do I get into a project? How long do I have to wait more?

Anyone got PMI ACP certification? Who do you list as project contact? Manager for each project or is it your direct manager or HR manager or general HR contact? Any Audit exp you can share?

Ever since I started this job my depression/anxiety has been through the roof. Teleworking has helped, I have so much anxiety going into the office. Lots of times I’ve been left on my own with no warning to lead client meetings about stuff I have no training in (I majored in Spanish, I’m in Financial Management somehow)

We have “forecast sales meetings” where the Director grills us on deals in front of the entire team. They are considering switching my title to Director of Project Management. All inflow and outflow of work is facilitated through me. No one else is able to communicate with our clients outside of me.
