I interviewed for Data Analyst role at EY, it went well and the job sounds great, but I'm a bit hesitant to leave PwC because I really like the firm and I'm just 8 months in my job as an associate at a subgroup of ITS that has some focus on technology and analytics but it's mostly tax compliance.
I do want to transition to data analytics but I'm not sure if it's a good idea to go to another big 4, or maybe just look for a position in industry.
Any advice or similar experience?

This is a shit comparison. Enron scandal was blatant misrepresentation with layers upon layer of review. This is an honest mistake. Very very very different
OP, you're a n00b
Now I can stop wondering whatever happened to the "Leave Britney Alone" kid.
Calm down, OP. This isn't the type of snafu that would have a long lasting, serious impact. Let people have their fun.
Well said OP. Everybody makes mistakes from time to time
you have completely missed the point K1. when reputation of our type of firm is compromised, it's a slippery slope regardless of the reason. Enron was originally shrugged of as just Arthur A's problem....until it became a shitstorm that impacted the entire industry.
There are none that will impact all of us. And that's the point as to why you're a n00b in consulting. Go read up on the shit D has been involved in, we were banned from consulting for banks, fucked up ACA roll outs etc. Nothing happened. So chill son. Enjoy the moment where you aren't the one who fucked up.
SC1 😂😂😂
(Side note - he cut his hair and did a few gay pornos)
Dude OP. Jesus Christ I'm embarrassed to be working at the same firm as you.
since K1 and ey1 is so smart, provide a better example of a mistake of one big 4 firm that can potentially impact the reputation of the rest of us. the Enron case is the only one that I know of in recent history.
