Change your mindset by changing how you talk to yourself OP. Don't constantly think you are unsuccessful. Instead tell yourself that if she can do, so can I! She is paving the way for me!
They all seem to have things in common with each other from a young age that I definitely don’t have. I’m starting to question how much of their initial kickoffs were circumstance vs pure hard work + rags and hardship to riches. All the posts about abundance and gratitude they post don’t have the same effect when I know they’ve been privileged for a long time.
Is it helping me to follow them or hurting me to compare my circumstances to someone who never faced them? Note: I def know there are female entrepreneurs who came from nothing, but I’m thinking of the ones from my community that I’m specifically following on insta
I really don’t mean to sound rude and I am saying this in a supportive way...
Maybe there is a bigger issue here than those people on social media?
I am a big believer in psychologists and I’ve found that talking through some of my concerns with someone has helped me get rid of my worst insecurities.
I don’t want to sound like I’m making a bigger deal out of this than it is or that I am condescending or anything!
That being said if you feel “stuck in a negative cycle” trying to get some kind of help for it may be more beneficial than following or not these folks :)
I’m much happier and satisfied when I’m off social media. Being on social media messes with my mind. I wish it didn’t. I wish I could be happy for others all the time but looking at insta makes me feel left out. Delete insta for a few weeks and see if you feel better.
