How should I handle this? I started with the title “analyst” but due to the company’s initial need, worked more as a data engineer/ jr developer. My director is now assigning tasks I’m not equipped to deliver on to his expectations and I don’t want to risk losing future opportunities since I want to develop analyst skills . I’m now a Sr Analyst . My director is clearly frustrated at the turn around times and final product that’s come out of the first analysis task I’ve worked on in over a year.
