Considering an exit to a startup that just completed a solid series B. They’re willing to provide competitive comp package and surprised how large the base is for a startup. Has me concerned about being on the high end and being the first person that comes to mind when it’s time to pinch a few pennies or clean up the books ahead of future rounds/IPO. I finally got diagnosed with ADD, inattentive type, at 28 years old. I’ve known I had depression and anxiety for years, but the symptoms and treatment never added up. Hey! I got an offer today from R@kuten for Sr Business Analyst of CAD $110K+15% annual bonus. Verbally in conversation with recruiter I had asked for CAD 115+10% annual bonus. I was initially offered $110k+10% annual bonus. I think I’ve already priced myself low which might be decent (not sure) for Toronto but way less in comparison with Bay Area where most of team will be based off. Hi! In Dec. I saw I was being underpaid & expressed my frustration to my boss & HR & was told they can’t do anything until may. I was also encouraged to look for an internal role at a more sr level to get closer to the salary I’m looking for. I need some professional advice. I’m a pr professional making 90k with 4 YOE in NYC and an MBA. I’ve been considering moving back to the DC metro area and recently had an interview, and the salary was 70K for the same role but for a different company in DC. If you were in my shoes, would you move forward with a pay cut or keep applying and stay in NYC for now?

I am currently a practice manager for a large practice that is in 3 states with over 300 locations. When I was promoted 3 years ago it was to take the place of the DOO that resigned, who was making 6 figures, and doing a quarter of the work that I do. They have me at $63,000 salary, but I work 60-70 hours a week due to the work load. Now they hired a new marketing employee, that was started at double my salary, and I feel very offended by this. What’s the best way to address this with HR?
